Feishu Markdown Exporter Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Feishu Markdown Exporter browser extension. The extension allows users, through explicit actions, to export the currently open Feishu document or wiki page as Markdown, and to preview the exported content locally before publishing it to a blog API configured by the user.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the current features of the extension, it may process the following information:
- Document titles, body text, and structured content from the current Feishu page
- Content currently selected by the user on the page
- HTML or plain text copied by the user and read from the clipboard
- Blog API endpoints, authentication headers, authentication tokens, request templates, and default publishing settings configured by the user
- Local drafts, preview content, and necessary runtime state
2. How We Use This Information
- Export the current Feishu page as a Markdown file
- Preview and edit exported Markdown in the side panel
- Send content to a user-configured blog API when the user explicitly clicks publish
- Save the user's publishing settings and default options
- Generate local diagnostic files to help identify export issues
3. How Data Is Stored
This extension does not operate a developer-owned server. Data processed by the extension
is mainly stored locally in the user's browser, including
chrome.storage.local, chrome.storage.sync,
Markdown files actively downloaded by the user, and diagnostic files actively downloaded by the user.
4. Data Transfer and External Sharing
The extension does not, by default, send Feishu document content, clipboard content, blog API tokens, or exported results to a developer-operated server.
Only when a user explicitly clicks the publish button does the extension send the edited Markdown content and the user's configured authentication information to the blog API endpoint provided by the user. This transfer is necessary to complete the user-initiated publishing feature.
We do not sell user data and do not use user data for advertising, profiling, credit evaluation, or purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
5. Permission Usage
activeTab: identify the active tab and read the current Feishu document contextscripting: inject scripts when the user explicitly triggers extraction, scrolling collection, and diagnosticsclipboardRead: read clipboard content after the user copies document content for fallback exportsidePanel: open the side panel preview and publishing interfacestorage: save local drafts, settings, and publishing configurationhttps://*.feishu.cn/*: access Feishu pages only for content extraction and in-page export features
6. Information We Do Not Process
- Feishu account passwords
- Browser cookies
- Browsing history unrelated to the extension's functionality
- User behavior analytics stored on a developer server
7. Data Retention
Data stored locally by the extension remains until the user clears browser storage, modifies or deletes relevant settings, or uninstalls the extension. Markdown files and diagnostic files actively downloaded by the user are managed by the user.
8. Security Notice
If a user enables the blog publishing feature, we recommend using only HTTPS
blog API endpoints to better protect authentication information and published content during transmission.
9. Contact
If you need to contact the developer, please use the support channel shown on the Chrome Web Store listing page for this extension.
